Growing up in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, the youngest child of civic minded parents, Nina never missed family dinner and was taught that actions speak louder than words.
At 16, with her parents’ blessing, Nina headed to the US to pursue her acting career, training at Interlochen Arts Academy, studying at Rutgers Conservatory at Shakespeare’s Globe in London and earning her BFA in Acting from Mason Gross School of the Arts. Professionally Nina works in film, television, commercials and VO.
When not working, Nina is impeccably dressed and ready to share an Aperol spritz, have deep discussions about Eckhart Tolle and laugh embarrassingly loud at good stand-up comedy. You can find her easily in a crowd at any tennis match as she is the most audible fan, except when the match is in play of course.
Nina understands there is a gap in how Latine’s are characterized and that many Latine narratives are missing from the industry. Her mission is to tell new stories that represent her ethnicity in an accurate, authentic way.
